Mousse- URGENT Foster/Adopter needed

URGENT RESCUE / FOSTER PLEA:
Meet Mousse: A 3-year-old Australian Kelpie/Shepherd mix who lost everything through absolutely no fault of his own.

Mousse's story is truly heartbreaking. He was originally owned by a soldier who was deployed overseas. The soldier entrusted his beloved pup to his girlfriend, but when the relationship ended, she surrendered Mousse to the shelter. He went from a home where he lived happily with young children to a loud, concrete kennel where he lived for over two years and ultimately slated for euthanasia. Our rescue was able to pull Mousse out of the shelter into a home but unfortunately it is not a right fit and now Mousse has no place to go and desperately needs a second chance at life. .

About Mousse:
• The Look: Mousse is incredibly handsome, featuring a beautiful black coat with a crisp white chest, a cute stubby tail, and deeply soulful eyes that just want to connect with you.
• The Personality: He is extremely affection-motivated! He loves water, is adorably vocal when he wants to communicate, and will happily roll over for belly rubs and give you kisses once he knows you.
• The Shepherd Loyalty: True to his Shepherd heritage, Mousse is fiercely loyal and deeply devoted to his people. He can be naturally wary of strangers at first, but he warms up beautifully (and seems to trust women very quickly!).
• The Brains: Mousse is highly intelligent and very trainable. On walks, he is perfectly leash-trained, completely focused on his trusted handler, and eagerly obeys all commands. He wants nothing more than to please his person.

What Mousse Needs: Because Mousse has been in a high-stress shelter for so long, he needs a hero. We are urgently looking for a foster or adopter who can provide:
• An adult only pet free home who has experience in handling a large breed dog
• An active lifestyle (daily walks and exercise in a secure area).
• A commitment to formal obedience training to help channel his intelligence and eagerness to learn.
• Patience. Mousse takes a little time to open up, but the moment he does, you will have a fiercely loyal shadow for life.

Mousse has so much love to give and just needs someone to finally choose him.
Could you be the one to give Mousse his life back? Please share, tag, and reach out immediately at Rescuewithoutborders@gmail.com if you can foster or adopt this incredible boy!
