Meet Morgan-I2354
Morgan-I2354, DOB 5.1.14, Adoption fee is $350.00. He is up to date on vaccinations, has a microchip and is neutered.

A male, German Shepherd that is black and tan in color and going on 10 years of age. He has been on Heartworm/Nexgard all the previous years. He is very healthy and weighs about 85 pounds & stands about 36” at the shoulder. A big dog with a bigger heart!
Morgan enjoys his own people but slow to warm up to strangers and can be protective, as most Shepherds are. He knows some basic commands like: come, sit, down and heal. We are working on “stay”.
Morgan's back history. He was adopted out at 2 yrs of age from FaerieLand Rescue. He lived with his mom and another shepherd for 7 years. His mom became ill and passed away. He came back to the rescue in July 2023 and has adjusted to being in rescue/foster home again.
He is house and crate trained. Morgan has to have a special diet for his Perianal Fistula. Special digestive food and meds on his food 2x a day. He can not have regular dog food or regular dog treats. Other wise he is very normal.
He loves to play with his Jolly ball. He will bring & drop it at your feet. Then he sits and waits for you to throw it again and again. He loves to play ball. I believe he would love to sleep next to his new adoptive folks, which is what he did in his previous home. He does not get on furniture or a bed at this time, but I am sure that could be changed!
He does require a 6’ secure fenced yard to be adopted. We are recommending a home with 1 or 2 adults and no children. Another female dog, with a middle of the road temperament, about his size would be acceptable once they meet and are okay with each other. He is a bit alpha.
As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. We would like this dog to be adopted into a secure 5'-6' fenced yard.
We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our shepherds to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
