Arrival story: Meagan and Morgan have been staying with family members of their original owners who sadly are unable to care for them any longer. This sweet, bonded pair, is hoping to find their forever home together.
Approximate age / Weight: 9.5 yrs/ 60 & 80 lbs
Personality: Why adopt one beautiful, floofy girl when you can have two? These charming ladies will give you double the love. Meagan is the beauty with the lighter coat and large area of white on her face while Morgan has a darker coat and just one little zigzag of white on her face. Meagan and Morgan were raised on a farm and had many fenced acres to roam. While they enjoyed this lifestyle, they settled in nicely to living in a subdivision and going for daily walks. Both girls are super affectionate with their humans, are good with children, get along with other dogs and cats, and have even done well with chickens milling around. Both walk beautifully on leash, are house and crate trained, and know basic commands. They love to be brushed and petted. Their perfect day consists of a couple of walks, a bit of playtime together, some snuggles with their humans and lots of nap time in the sun. While both girls are friendly and mellow, they're not mirror images. Morgan is a total velcro dog whereas Meagan enjoys her independence and me time. Meagan is the, ahem, curvier of the two, so she's the one more eager to get some cardio in on her walks. Meagan can get a little uneasy with a lot of people in the house but Morgan says 'the more the merrier'. Both are super sweet and easy-keepers. We just can't say enough good things about these lovely ladies.
Forever home: These bonded sisters are hoping to find their forever home together. They grew up together, went through the changes in living arrangements together and truly love each other. They're such easy keepers you won't realize you have two dogs, except they'll take up most of the space on your couch. They'd do well in most family situations as they are agreeable to having other animals around, love people and do well with children. They'd love to have a fenced yard to meander around in and get in a little play time together, but they'd be fine with daily walks as well.
