Moose's Story

ADORABLE QUIRKY ALERT

Moose is a mix of lovable, goofy with a massive heart and playful side paired with the cutest little low-rider legs. He is truly a bulldozer of love — his favorite place to be is wherever his people are, and he has so much love to give his future family.

Moose absolutely LOVES people and other dogs. He has done wonderfully living with both male and female dog roommates and would be thrilled to have a canine friend to play and hang out with. He has a vibrant, playful, energetic personality and loves playing with his toys, chewing on his bones, and being part of whatever his humans are doing. Moose may not know when to stop playing but when he does he will make you laugh with his nap time skills.

While 11 months old, he still needs nap time, and time outs to know it’s time to rest.

Moose is house trained, walks well on a leash, and does great with a harness. Moose is an affectionate, social guy who wants to be included in everyday life — whether that means going on an adventure, playing with his dog friends, running off leash at the beach, swimming, playing with all dogs or just hanging out with his favorite people. Moose truly is vibrant for life.

Moose responds well to correction and needs to be matched with another very playful dog. Moose’s one area of improvement is that he values high enrichment items favorably on the first few instances with another dog. After that he can cohabit without any issues, or worry.

Moose is gentle on the treats, takes his time to eat and is completely house / potty trained.

More than anything, Moose needs a family who will embrace his goofy, energetic, larger-than-life personality and give him all the love he is so ready to return. He is playful, affectionate, social, and full of life — and once Moose loves you, he is all in.

If you're looking for a dog who will make you laugh, keep you company, play hard, love harder, and happily bulldoze his way into your heart, Moose is your guy.
