Moose's Story
Moose is adorable, in foster with two dogs and four cats!. Yes, he is still a puppy given a date of birth as Jan or Feb. He has learned and is nearly 100% potty trained (although he does not for some reason use the doggie door at his foster home in Chehalis, WA. Approx 35 pounds.

He loves going out exploring and running in the yard even if the other dogs do not join him (for some reason he does not use the dog door? We do not know why!) lol. He loves his toys, will happily play on his own, or tug of war with the other dogs. Like most of our dogs he would do well with another dog, but that is not a requirement.

if you live in an apartment you would have to be home a lot to give him plenty of exercise, he is NOT a couch potato!.

We think he would do fine with children. He is still learning house manners but doing great, very enthusiastic.

He might take a few minutes to warm up to his new person(s), but quickly he will adore you. he sleeps in his crate at night very well.

He has no known medical/allergies and you will love this active cutie pie

shaynesrescue.com to apply to adopt
Saved from Kurth Memorial Animal shelter, Lufkin, TX

neutered, shots, chipped, everything is done.

shaynesrescue@gmail.com for any questions?

When we post his photo online asking for breed recommendations we get this! lol

• The Coat and Markings: Musso features a classic piebald pattern—mostly white with large, dark patches. His face has a beautiful asymmetrical "mask" covering his right eye and ear, which is a very common coat variation in Australian Shepherds and Border Collies.
• The Eyes: He has bright, warm, amber-brown eyes that match his brown-nosed pigment. His sweet, intelligent expression is highly characteristic of herding breeds.
• The Ears and Build: He has semi-pricked or "button" ears that fold forward elegantly when he is excited, a trait shared heavily by herding groups, terriers, and some retriever mixes. His slender, athletic frame makes him the perfect size for an active lifestyle.
