Moose is a 4-year-old, ~50 lb chocolate Lab/Staffy mix who has officially figured out foster life-and he's doing great.
He came to us from a partnering shelter where the environment just wasn't working for him. In a home, everything changed. Moose relaxed, settled in, and has proven to be an easy, well-mannered dog to live with.
Day-to-day Moose looks like:
Hanging out on the couch like he belongs there (because he does)
Riding along and watching the world go by
Stretching his legs outside and enjoying some space
Keeping an eye on his people and whatever's going on
The important stuff:
Potty trained
No indoor accidents
Friendly with people (big and small)
Does well with other dogs
Cat tested and passed (slow intros recommended)
Moose isn't complicated. Give him a routine and a place to land, and he settles in fast.
