Moose's Story

Moose was found on Indian Road in Keys, Oklahoma. He had been hit by a car and had a broken leg. He was picked up by a good Samaritan who took him to the vet. The Humane Society of Cherokee County was contacted. They took in Moose and helped him with his recovery. While Moose's leg healed, he was still in need of help. Moose could be reactive and was hard to walk on leash. <br/>That’s when they reached out to K-9 Lane for help. <br/>While in training Moose has thrived. <br/>He is a high drive Dutch Shepherd mix who absolutely loves to work and needs someone who enjoys working him too. <br/>This amazing dog has so much life he wants to share with a special human. <br/>Like most Dutch Shepherd’s he loves as hard as he works and plays. <br/>For more information about adopting Moose please contact the Humane Society of Cherokee County<br/>Moose comes with training/handler lessons to insure his success.<br/>These lessons are mandatory for his adoption and will only be waived for an approved and experienced handler.<br/>If interested in Moose, fill out an adoption application at humanecherokeecounty.org.
