Hi! I'm Moon - and I'm the sweetest, shyest little muppet you'll meet! I'm a 5 month old lab mix who is both playful and snuggly - and so in need of a safe, soft place to call home.

I was found as a stray with some of my siblings, so I feel most at home playing in the backyard, where I'm curious, silly, and adventurous! Inside, I prefer to feel safe in my kennel, but I'm learning to trust my foster family and explore the house with them. I actually do great on a leash, and am slowly becoming more confident on my walks. I'm learning how to sit and come, and with a little coaxing, I will snuggle up next to you.

I would do best in a home where an individual or family has the time to devote the energy towards socializing me and bringing me out of my shell. But, I can also stay in my crate while you are out during the day. I'm so grateful to have kind people helping me, and as you can see from my video, I'm really starting to open up! I would also do well with another dog in the house to teach me the ropes. I'd also be great with a cat (there is one in my foster home) and would love some slightly older kids (6-18) to play with - I love playing fetch! I might be nervous around younger kids - but I am very docile and sweet, so it's not a deal breaker! I will also do well in a house without a lot of noise or chaos - at least until I'm fully adjusted and acclimated.

I am shy now, but my foster mom thinks I will keep growing more confident and become a wonderful companion and playmate! I'm so sweet, I don't bark or whine, and I'm truly just looking for a home that will help me grow into myself.
