Hi I’m Moon and I’m a 4 month old male Catahoula Mix and weigh about 26 lbs! I moved to Wisconsin on 6/27 and I’m still getting used to my new surroundings. It took me a few hours to warm up to being pet by my foster family but after being fed I decided they were alright and now I’m asking for pets all the time! I love my sister star and we play constantly and snuggle in bed. I get along with my foster siblings and I like to take lots of naps after I play out my puppy energy bursts. I haven’t made a peep inside and I slept all night in my crate! Sometimes when I hear other dogs bark I’ll bark back but I’m not an instigator! I was a little cautious at first when my foster siblings try to eat my food but after a few days together were eating out of each other’s bowls! I bark when I see my foster family’s cat but when I get close to him I just whine and don’t chase. I’ll crawl up into your lap for snuggles and ask to be pet all the time. I’m a little shy at first but it’s worth when I feel safe I’ll love you to pieces!

Our application process includes landlord approval and vet checks. Please make sure all of your information is current and accurate, including a valid email address and phone numbers. Inaccuracies and/or incomplete data will delay and/or cancel your application. We strive to process all applications in a timely manner, but with the high volume of applications we are receiving, it is taking anywhere from 1-3 weeks. You may be contacted via email if there are concerns or questions. Once all of your information is reviewed and if your application is approved, you will be notified via email. Submitting an application and receiving an approval does not guarantee you will be adopting the dog you applied for. Once you move to the meet and greet process, you will be contacted by the foster family to further discuss the dog, and answer questions you may have, and if applicable, a meet and greet will be set up at our adoption center. Meet and greets are only set up with approved applicants, and we require all members in the household to be present, as well as any current dogs in the home.

Current Adoption Fees Are:
$400+tax for puppies to 3 years old
$350+tax for ages 4-7
$250+tax for ages 8 and up
Bonded pairs vary

The adoption fee covers spay/neuter, up to date age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, general deworming, heartworm test, (if over 6 months) and a certified veterinary inspection. Please be aware, listed dog breeds are based on information provided and cannot be guaranteed. Submitting an application for a particular dog does not guarantee that you will be the applicant chosen, we receive several applications for each dog. Our adopters are picked based on the needs of the dog, and the home we feel with best fit based on your responses to our application, vet information and landlord requirements. Approved applicants not chosen for the dog you applied for, will be in active status for a period of six months. We encourage you to watch Petfinder, Facebook and our website for upcoming dogs.
