Moo Shu's Story
Meet Moo Shu!

Moo Shu is a 2-year-old, 16-pound Shih Tzu with a happy heart and a social personality! Found as a stray in Detroit and never reclaimed, this handsome fella is ready to find a family who will include him in a lifetime of adventures.

Moo Shu loves meeting new faces and is always ready for some fun. He's a very active boy seeking an equally active family and would likely do well with dog-savvy children. He enjoys romping around with other playful dogs who can match his energy. His interactions with cats have been limited, but he hasn't shown any negative interest in them.

This cheerful companion has demonstrated a good understanding of house manners. He can be vocal at times, so an apartment or tightly knit living situation would not be a good fit. He is also not suited for a tether or invisible fence.

Moo Shu will need regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best, along with a family committed to giving him plenty of playtime, companionship, and love.

If you're looking for a friendly little adventure buddy with a big personality, Moo Shu may be your perfect match. He's ready for a furever home where the good times—and the love—will last a lifetime!

Moo Shu is:
Current on Bordetella, Distemper, and Rabies
Dewormed
Heartworm Tested: Negative
Receiving Heartworm and Flea Prevention
Microchipped
Scheduled to be neutered at our partner Veterinary office.

ADOPTION FEE: $375

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS PET, PLEASE COMPLETE THE APPROPRIATE APPLICATION FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE HTTP://FUREVERTAILS.COM. Unfortunately, at this time we are not currently adopting outside of the state of MI. We process applications ONLY - there is no guarantee that you will get a response to an inquiry.

Many of the animals in our foster program come to us with limited or unknown histories. We make every effort to evaluate each animal's temperament and behavior, including testing their interactions with other dogs, cats, and children (defined as individuals under the age of 18, when available). However, every animal is unique—just as every child and household environment is different.

While we strive to set both our foster animals and adoptive families up for success through thorough assessments and transparent communication, **we cannot guarantee any specific behavioral outcome**. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program.

FUREVER TAILS IS A NON-PROFIT, NO-KILL, FOSTER HOME BASED ANIMAL RESCUE BASED OUT OF OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI. OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS.
