He leans into people for comfort, quietly asking for love, as if he’s still learning that he’s finally safe. Despite everything he’s been through, he greets the world with soft eyes and a hopeful spirit.<br/>He gets along beautifully with other dogs and would truly blossom in a home with a confident canine friend to show him the ropes and help him feel secure. With slow, thoughtful introductions, he should do just fine with cats too. Although he has not been tested with children, his easy going loving nature tells us he would do fine with respectful younger humans. <br/>He walks nicely on leash, rides calmly in the car, is housetrained, and sleeps in his crate at nighttime. Lately, he’s been starting to come out of his shell—tentatively discovering toys and learning how to play, like he’s experiencing the simple joys of being a dog for the very first time.<br/>What he needs now is someone who will see how special he is—someone patient, gentle, and loving, who will give him the safe, forever home he’s always deserved.
