Monroe's Story

Meet Monroe! This little sweetheart has had a tough start but she has that pug-nacious attitude and is determined to make the best of things. She is currently around 10 pounds and 12 weeks old. Best guess is she will stay a very nice petite 15-20 pounds. Monroe is recovering from an eye injury and the treatment required. She is showing no signs of being nervous or guarded. She loves playing outside but would probably also do well in an apartment with outdoor playtime on the daily schedule. She is a great cuddler and couch companion. She is respectful and interested in the two larger foster dogs. No known experience with cats, but we expect she would adapt well. She is making good progress in house training and crate training is going well, staying crated mostly quietly through the night. She likes her people but does not get overly upset when on her own. <br/>If you have a spot in your home for a gutsy little girl, she may be the one you've been looking for.
