Thankfully, a kind local elderly man opened his heart and home to her, giving Mona the shelter and care she desperately needed.<br/><br/>But now, Mona is ready for the next chapter of her life — a family of her own. <br/><br/>Mona can be timid and uncertain when she encounters new people or unfamiliar surroundings. She just needs someone willing to give her the time, love, and patience she deserves. With a little reassurance and a lot of kindness, we believe Mona will learn that she is safe and loved.<br/><br/>She may need some time to come out of her shell, but once she trusts you, she'll know she's finally home. <br/><br/>She will need slow, and careful introductions with other dogs.
