Our Mission
Animal A.I.D. of Mississippi is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), foster-based dog rescue organization dedicated to protecting, nurturing, and loving the most vulnerable and forsaken dogs in our community. Powered entirely by volunteers, we operate through a network of devoted foster homes and focus on placing dogs into safe, loving homes locally throughout South Mississippi, as well as across the Northeast and Southwest Louisiana through our established transport partnerships. Our mission is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and the belief that every dog deserves a second chance.
Adoption Policy
Adopters must complete an application which includes information on current and past pets and vet references. Initial interviews are conducted by phone. We also do an in-person home visit with the adopter, if possible, or require video chat or photos where we can see the animal's expected living conditions.
