Momma Squeak's Story

Meet Momma Squeak<br/><br/>Momma Squeak has been through a lot and despite it all, she's remained incredibly loving.<br/><br/>This 2-year-old dachshund mix (possibly a Chiweenie) absolutely adores people and wants nothing more than to be close to them. She likes to control the show and be the center of attention, so we do not recommend a home with other dogs or cats.<br/><br/>She was surrendered to one of our shelter partners after biting a child while heavily pregnant, and it's very possible her hormones and stress contributed to the situation. Since coming into our care, we have not experienced any behavioral concerns with people and her.<br/><br/>She's currently working on house training and continues to settle into rescue life beautifully. Momma Squeak deserves the chance to be seen for who she is now, a loving little dog ready for a fresh start.

Paws of the Pines Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our organization is foster based only therefore we do not have a facility for potential adopters to visit. Often times our social media will share who will be at our upcoming events. A pre-approved application must be on file before we schedule any private meet and greets. Our adoption fees are as follows: ANY small breed dog: $350 Pups under 2yrs: $300 Dogs over 2yrs: $200 Cats: $150

Paws of the Pines Rescue is a small, volunteer ran organization. Our animals come to us as strays, owner surrenders, or shelter pulls. We are ran solely off of donations and have rescued hundreds of animals since our operations began in September 2022.
