Molly Wolly

Foster Notes: <br/><br/>Molly Wolly is such a lovely dog. She is confident and content as long as she has a lap to sit in or a ball to hold. Weve taken her to a few different festivals and Molly has a bunch of fun in crowds and has yet to meet a stranger. When she first came to MCAS, Molly had limited use of her back legs. Thankfully, the shelter had a wheelchair that happened to fit her but since then, we have been working on her strength. We are unsure of her past, but Molly has regained the majority of her function in her back legs. She can feel it when you tickle her toes and does a funny little dance when you give her butt scratches. The biggest thing with her is that she is just a little wobbly, but has recently been able to go up the couple of stairs that lead into our house without any assistance! Molly is completely house trained, but like any dog, can have an accident in the house if she gets too excited as were getting ready for our morning walk. She is great with our other dogs, cats, and has been fantastic with my coworkers kids, though Molly may accidentally knock over younger kids when she loses her balance. There is absolutely nothing that will slow her down. Molly recently got spayed and has regained some weight and muscle mass back, though we suspect she will end up between 45-50lbs at a healthy weight. She loves playing fetch (though were still working on drop it) and small, soft toys to hold in her mouth and chew on. We suspect she would do best in a house where she can hog all of the attention from her people but she has been the sweetest velcro dog. She wont need any long term management of her hind end weakness and just got spayed 7/21 and is all ready to go to her new home.
