Molly the Itty Bitty Pittie's Story

Petite powerhouse and squeaker enthusiast, confident and goofy…this is Molly! At 38 pounds she is the perfect pittie package, compact body with full-size personality.

Want to see this confident little character in motion? Head over to YouTube and then come right back to meet the girl who believes squeaky toys are the most important invention of all time.
https://youtu.be/yE05fjnltas

Molly is estimated to be about 3 years old and weighs an adorable 38 lbs. She appears to be a petite pittie-type mix, though as always with rescue, breed and birthday are our best guess.
On leash, Molly has the basics down and is what you might call distractible on leash. There are just so many good smells and things to see while out and about. We know as she gets more and more practice this will not be the case.. She is treat motivated, which will serve her beautifully during on-going training.
With other dogs, Molly has a confident personality. The good news is that she knows other dogs can be confident as well and it doesn’t take away from her. In a home environment she has lived alongside a strong female dog and a pug mix and accepted their corrections without escalating things, so she has confidence with an understanding, patient nature. Because of her personality, she would do best with a confident, well-balanced dog who can calmly remind her that she doesn’t need to run the show. A yard where she can burn off some energy would be ideal, though with exercise and continued leash practice she may be able to adapt to other living situations as well. Molly will need a cat-free home and is not the best match for teeny-tiny dogs, something about both sounds too close to that beloved squeaky-toy sound and we do not want her to confuse a house mate for a toy.

When affection is being handed out, Molly has a funny little “wait, that’s for me too!” energy. If another dog is getting love, she will happily wander over to collect her share as well. It is a charming little peek at the social side of her personality. She is a wiggly girl looking for love.

Molly also needs you to know- the sound that comes out of a dog toy is her favorite sound ever! This translates into a toy-loving, self-entertaining queen! Her playful side will have you smiling and laughing while watching her play.

Molly is the kind of dog who will thrive with a confident adopter who appreciates a little personality, enjoys the bond that comes from training, and loves a dog that keeps life interesting. In the right home, her playful spark and confident little spirit are going to shine!

If Molly sounds like the kind of spunky sidekick you’ve been searching for, apply today!

Apply here:
https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69a5c5dee85ac8ca7d0f080c

Please email: Kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions.

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care.
