Molly's Story

Molly is a possible Shih Tzu mix, weighing just 10 pounds and currently in foster care in Marfa, TX. She is a tiny bundle of cuteness with a happy spirit and a nose that’s always on the go! This pretty young girl is still enjoying some puppy fun, especially when toys are involved, and she’d love a canine friend who appreciates a good play session. She’s a quick learner, already doing well on leash walks, and has pretty good recall. At the end of the day, Molly’s favorite place may be right beside you—she sleeps quietly through the night, happily snoozing close to her person.

Molly is still building confidence in the big, noisy world. Passing trucks can be scary, and she can be sensitive to unfamiliar sounds, sometimes expressing herself with a bark or two. She may need a little time and patience as she discovers that new experiences aren’t so intimidating after all. She’s also still learning the finer points of doggie etiquette and can occasionally be a bit persistent when inviting other dogs to play. With kind guidance, positive experiences, and a little room to grow, Molly has all the makings of a delightful companion. If you’re looking for a petite, playful, curious sweetheart who will happily share your evenings and make you smile, Molly might just be your girl!

Thank you for considering an OTAT-WTX rescue! All pets are living in foster homes, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines.

If you are interested in adopting, or for more information, please visit our website: https://otatwtx.org/adopt
