MOLLY's Story

Golden Girl Molly (A482428) is Ready for Her Second Chance ?? Molly is a senior girl who has been through more than she ever should have. She was left behind by her previous owners along with several other dogs, and at her age, that kind of heartbreak is especially hard. She deserved a home that would love her through her golden years, and while she did not get that the first time, we are determined to help her find it now Molly is a good girl with an incredibly sweet nature. She loves people and, even at her age, is still up for a little exploration and adventure. She enjoys getting out and about, taking in the world around her at her own pace ?? She does have arthritis, and combined with being overweight, it can make things a bit harder for her. She sometimes struggles to get up and will need a family that understands senior dogs and is committed to helping manage her comfort and mobility through proper care and regular veterinary support Despite that, Molly still has a playful side. She enjoys short bursts of play and little romps, just nothing too long or too intense. Think more “quick fun and then back to relaxing” rather than marathon play sessions While she has not been formally tested with dogs here, she did arrive with others and did well with them. With proper introductions, she will likely do just fine. She would do best with calm companions who understand her need to take it easy Molly is also looking for a family who can help her on a weight loss journey so she can feel her best and move more comfortably. With the right support, she has so much life and love left to give Molly is 9 years old and weighs about 88 pounds. All dogs adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are spayed or neutered, microchipped, dewormed, appropriately vaccinated, and receive a 90 day flea and tick preventative. Ready to meet Molly? Stop by 4950 Triana Blvd and head to the dog areas. All adopters must be 19 years or older with a valid ID
