Molly's Story

Meet Molly, a one-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix weighing 50 pounds.

When Molly first arrived, she was a very shy girl who wasn’t quite sure what to make of everything. But with some patience, love, and time, she has really come out of her shell—and we couldn’t be happier to see her personality shine!

Molly is very human-oriented and has quickly become a favorite among our dog walkers. She walks beautifully on leash and absolutely loves getting out for walks, exploring, and spending time with her people. Once the walk is over, she’s more than happy to trade adventure time for snuggles!

Molly can still be a little unsure when faced with new situations, so she’ll appreciate a family who will continue to give her encouragement and let her build confidence at her own pace. She crates well and also enjoys playing with other dogs.

Molly is simply a good girl looking for her person—a loving companion who will appreciate her sweet nature and give her the security and TLC she deserves. We think she’s going to make someone a wonderful best friend.

This pet is available for adoption on 5/21/2026 2:59 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
