Moira Dachshund Mix Charleston, SC

Marvelous Moira is ready to find her forever home!!

Moira is also part of the 4 dachshund mixes we got from a hoarding case in Columbia. She came to us with pretty bad hair loss and was extremely scared. Thanks to some TLC from her amazing foster momma, her fur has completely grown back in and she has come out of her shell tenfold!

Moira loves children. Her foster human brother is definitely who she is drawn to the most. She is extremely wiggly and has received the nickname "wiggle butt" because all you need to do is look in her direction and the wiggles start. She also loves to give kisses!

Moira loves other dogs. She has two foster fur-siblings. A 5 month old mixed male puppy and a 1 year old female lab/golden retriever. All three of them love to play tug, wrestle and chase each other.

Moira will bark at strangers who first come into the home. She is a little protective over her humans and tries to ward off unknown people with her bark but... her wiggly butt tells you she doesn't mean those big ole barks. Haha!

She will let strangers pet her right away and warms up to them quickly. Other than when strangers come inside the house, she rarely barks. Her foster almost never hears a peep from her otherwise.

Moira is around 3 years old and weighs around 22 pounds. She is the perfect size! She would make the perfect companion for a single person with no other pets OR someone with children and/or other dogs! We are unsure about cats. She is extremely sweet and we can't wait for her to find her furever home! She has a ton of love to give a lucky person or family! Moira has quickly become her foster mom’s favorite foster to date!

Moira is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and Heartworm negative!
