Moe bonded with Joe

Hi, I'm Moe! I'm an 12-year-old Shih Tzu weighing about 10 pounds, and I'm looking for a forever home with my best buddy, Joe. We've been together our whole lives and are a bonded pair, so wherever I go, Joe goes too!<br/><br/>I'm a sweet, old, gentle little guy who loves being close to my people. I'm affectionate, quiet, snuggly, and perfectly happy being a little couch potato. I've been told I am the sweeter one of the pair of us!! I also enjoy spending time outside, and judging by how excited I get when the harnesses come out, I'd probably love getting back to taking little walks with my new family.<br/><br/>I'm housetrained but do need ready access to a backyard since I am older and need to go more frequently! I'm friendly with other dogs but I haven't been around cats, so we're not sure what I think of them. I ride nicely in the car and am an easygoing guy when meeting new people.<br/><br/>I do have a heart murmur and take medication for it, but it doesn't keep me from enjoying my everyday life. I take my medicine well, and a supply will be provided to help get my new family started. Joe and I just had dentals so we are good to go on that too!!<br/><br/>Joe and I were very loved by our previous owner, whose declining health meant he could no longer care for us. We were used to spending lots of time with him, including winters in Arizona and summers in Oregon, so being near our person is important to us.<br/><br/>Our dream home would be with someone who is home often and wants two sweet senior companions to share the couch, enjoy the yard, take little strolls, and simply spend their days together.
