Mochi's Story

Mochi (formerly Loki) is a 2-year-old neutered pittie boy weighing 33 pounds who is looking for his new forever home.

Mochi is an active young dog who will benefit from structure, continued guidance, and an adopter who can help him build confidence and channel his energy in positive ways. Because of his past experiences, he may do best with someone who understands dog body language and will give him clear boundaries, patience, and consistency.

Like all of our dogs, Mochi's adoption includes the option to attend group training classes with a professional trainer to help build confidence, create structure, and support a successful transition into his new home.

Mochi has so much love to give and so much life ahead of him. We can’t wait to see this deserving boy finally get the happy ending he’s been waiting for.

Roxy's Ranch Haven's Adoption Policy
Our rescued animals are looking for loving, responsible forever homes. Rescue dogs are pulled from overcrowded shelters where they have been listed for euthanasia due to space. To ensure they find the best match, here’s how our adoption process works: 1. Select a Pet Browse through our available animals and click on the one you’re interested in inquiring about. You may visit https://roxysranchhaven.org/for-adoption/ to do this as well. If you are unsure which animal is the best fit for you, but would like to adopt, please continue with Step 2. 2. Complete the Adoption Application Fill out the form completely, including all details that will help us ensure a good match between you and the animal. 3. Phone Screening Once your application is submitted, a member of our team will contact you for a phone screening to go over your information and confirm if the pet is a good fit. 4. Schedule a Farm Visit If approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to visit Roxy’s Ranch Haven to meet the animal in person. This will be confirmed by email or during your call. 5. Adoption Fee & Paperwork After your visit, you’ll receive an email with instructions for submitting the $350 adoption fee (which supports the farm) along with the post-adoption form and official paperwork, including shelter notes and medical records. 6. Meet your future pet During your visit, you’ll spend time with the pet you’re interested in and get to know them better. 7. Submit Final Paperwork Once all required forms and paperwork are returned, your adoption is nearly complete! 8. Adoption Certificate Issued You’ll receive your official Adoption Approval Certificate, signed by the Executive Director of Roxy’s Ranch Haven.
