Come meet Mocha and other great adoptable dogs this Saturday (April 27th) from 12-2 pm at Unleashed by Petco in Arlington (5400 Langston Blvd., Arlington, VA 22207)!
Name: Mocha Best Guess for Breed: Hound and shepherd mix
Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of March 2024 SEX: Female
Approximate Weight: 26lbs as of 3/15
Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen Mocha with cats or kids, but she can be tested.
Currently Living at: DC area foster home.

Mocha is Looking For: Her forever family! Mocha is a young hound mix, and, despite the prominence of her ears, it's her nose that will need to kept entertained! If you like long, leisurely walks, Mocha is likely the girl for you! Hounds don't like to be rushed on their walks, and allowing them to sniff provides SO much mental enrichment! Mocha also told me she would like to be able to run and be silly with other pups on a regular basis, so she can make lots of friends. What do you say? Do you have room in your heart for this sweet girl?
What My Foster Says About Me: Mocha is super a sweet pup! She loves to snuggle and play. She absolutely adores the dog park and will run around so fast! She's young, so she needs to work on basic manners a bit, but she's very smart so I think training her will be a breeze.
Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
