Mocha's Story
Mocha our special girl:

Mocha came into rescue with severely deformed back legs, and Xray's later confirmed that she also has a disc issue in her spine, making her mobility challenges mostly neurological. She has always used her front legs to move herself around and she does it with the sweetest spirit.

After consulting with our vet, we made the decision to remove one of her rear legs. It was completely frozen in place and blocking any chance of improved mobility. She recently had that surgery and is already trying to use her remaining rear leg. We also have a wheelchair on the way to help her stay comfortable and give her more independence.

Mocha is estimated to be around five years old and she truly loves people. She is not bonded to Latte, the blind white girl pictured with her, so they do not need to be adopted together.

We are now taking applications to find the very best fit for our special needs girl. She deserves a home that will support her, celebrate her, and love her exactly as she is.
