Moby (courtesy post)'s Story
Moby is a sweet, affectionate, cuddly 6-year-old Dachshund/Lab mix, about 37 lbs, black and white. He was a very happy loved and treasured pet for the last 6 years until his owner passed away. Looking for a loving home for his boy.

He grew up around cats, dogs, and kids, but it's been a while, so we don't know how he'd do with them today. He can be reactive toward other dogs, so he'd do best as the only pet.

He's affectionate with adults he knows and can be a little shy with new people at first. With calm, slow introductions, he warms up and becomes a snuggler.

He completed three weeks of professional training last year. He's potty trained and happy in his crate at home. New places can make him anxious, so a quiet, steady home where he can settle in would suit him well. Two walks a day is enough, and he's just as happy to chill and cuddle. He has some strength to him but is manageable for most people.
