Moby's Story
Moby is a 1 year old Great Pyrenees who has known extreme hardship in his short life.

Moby came to one of our partner shelters as a forced surrender after his owners were reported to authorities. When Animal Control arrived, to check on Moby, they were horrified by what they found. He was severely emaciated, completely matted, and in heartbreaking condition. His hip bones protruded, every rib could be felt, and it was clear that he had been horribly neglected.

But despite everything he has been through, Moby is still incredibly sweet.

He is going to need some time to recover both physically and emotionally. After living such an awful life, it is certainly understandable that Moby is feeling a little insecure. His favorite place in the world is right next to his people. He wants to be close, to know where you are, and to feel safe. And if you stop petting him? Be ready for the Pyr Paw as a reminder to keep on petting.

Moby is good with kids and other dogs, and is just looking for the security of a loving home. His road to recovery will take kindness and patience, but in the end you will have a loving and loyal companion.

If you are interested in Moby, please complete an application at www.realdogrescue.org/adopt.
