Mitch's Story

Meet Mitch. He is a sweet 3-year-old, 57-lb neutered male is currently being lovingly fostered by our amazing friends at Pet Suites in Charlotte, NC (where he used to go to daycare as a puppy — they loved him so much they stepped up to help him again 🥹).

Mitch’s story hasn’t been easy. He lived with his owner since he was a tiny puppy before being found abandoned in a crate in a field last year. He was scared and shut down in the shelter, and Pet Suites stepped in to save him. He was briefly reclaimed by his previous owner, only to be abandoned again months later. When Mitch became at risk of euthanasia at the shelter,Pet Suites stepped up for him again and this time we are here to help too!

✨ About Mitch• 3 years old, 57 lbs, neutered male• Sweet, goofy, affectionate personality• Crate trained and seems potty trained• Knows sit and shake/paw and is eager to learn more• Takes treats VERY gently• Loves attention, zoomies, and then a good nap 😴

Mitch tested well with a proper introduction with another dog and even took correction well. He’s a sensitive boy who needs structure and love, and he’ll thrive with someone who understands big, goofy, affectionate dogs. Because he’s a strong, excited guy who thinks he’s a lap dog, he’d do best in a home with older kids.

Mitch would do best in a home with kids 12+ because he is easily excited and believes he is a lap dog.

Mitch has been through so much, and now he’s finally ready for his real forever family 💕

📍 Fostered in Charlotte, NC📧 Apply to adopt Mitch: daisybeanrescue.org or contact us at daisybeanrescue123@gmail.com
