Misty's Story
Around 5 years old and 65 pounds, Misty has settled into shelter life with remarkable grace. She's currently living in one of our shelter offices, where she's proven to be a wonderful housemate: quiet, non-destructive (but she WILL eat your snacks if they're left unattended), and content to relax while her people work. She walks beautifully on leash, already knows "sit," and is incredibly treat motivated, making her eager to learn even more with her future family.

Misty is looking for a home where she can be the only dog. While she can politely pass other dogs on walks, she'd prefer not to share her home with them. At this time, we don't know how she does with cats or children.

Come meet me at High Country Humane Main Campus, located at 11665 N. Highway 89, Flagstaff, AZ 86004. Our shelter is open Thursday-Tuesday, 11am-5pm, and closed on Wednesdays.

Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is already spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped (we register it for FREE). Each adoption also includes a free health exam, and a small bag of their kibble. Please bring a leash and collar with you or plan to purchase them here. We can't wait to help you meet your new furry friend!
