MISSY AND MISTER YANKEE ARE BEING FOSTERED IN KANSAS. APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED NATIONWIDE.<br/>Introducing Missy and Mister Yankee!<br/>Are you ready to welcome two adorable and well-behaved dogs into your home? Missy and Mister Yankee were discovered at a shelter a few months ago and we learned that their owner passed away. Although we don’t know much about their upbringing - their foster mom (an experienced trainer) can tell that these dogs were well loved and cared for. Here are the details:<br/>Mister Yankee is a male, approximately 1 year and his Embark test revealed he is equal parts English Shepherd and poodle (golden in there too!). He’s biddable, lovable, and very dog friendly. Perfect mix of youthful energy and ability to chill. Mister Yankee has been known to jump a 5-foot fence, but only to join the fun, not to get away. <br/><br/>Missy is approximately 5 years old and quite possibly/probably Mister Yankee’s mom. She is the classic tricolor, English “shadow” with a tendency for separation anxiety. We resolved her anxiety by making sure Missy is with Mister Yankee - they’re a bonded pair. She is crate trained and completely trustworthy loose in the house.<br/><br/>These two active, social, and heathy dogs are currently being fostered in Kansas in a home that provides doggy day care. During the day Missy is content to chill in the house while Mister Yankee plays with the other pups. Both dogs are good with kids and small dogs. They have not been cat tested. The foster has expressed numerous times how amazing they both are. They sleep in her room, next to her bed, with the door open. They are not flight risk dogs, not afraid of storms or loud noises. They both like people and are willing to meet anyone if invited. Due to Mister Yankee’s jumping skills (agility!) their next home will require a well-fenced yard.
