Missy doesn't want much. She just wants to be close.<br/><br/>We don't know Missy's story. We only know that when she was found, she was painfully thin--and the scars around her neck suggest that life had not been gentle with her.<br/><br/>Yet somehow, Missy is still incredibly gentle with people.<br/><br/>She doesn't hesitate to lean into you. She presses her body against yours, curls up as close as she possibly can, and quietly soaks in every soft touch and kind word. It's as though she has spent her whole life waiting for someone to hold her and tell her she is safe.<br/><br/>Missy enjoys short walks and little bursts of play, but her favorite activity is simply being loved. She isn't hyper, she doesn't bark excessively, and she would be perfectly content snuggling beside someone while they remind her how beautiful she is.<br/><br/>Missy is fearful of most other dogs and needs to be the only dog in her home.
