Miss Mouse Pit Bull Terrier Bakersfield, CA

Meet Miss Mouse! This little girl is currently being fostered with three 10-year-old dogs who can be grumpy in their older age. Miss Mouse is a lovebug! Just look at her smile! How can you resist? She loves to go on hikes, but also likes to lounge around at home. She is 2 years old, 40 pounds, house trained, crate trained, spayed, and responds well to commands. She has been with us for five days and has been doing well. She loves my kids. One of my dogs was a little reactive with her at first, and Miss Mouse was slightly defensive, but with some correction, she is doing well now. While I am able to feed her when I feed the rest of my dogs, I prefer to feed them separately because she will eat faster than my dogs and, sometimes, she will go by their dog bowls when she is done. When I correct her, she listens well. She is a pleaser! She learned the sit command in one day. Miss Mouse has a pleasant disposition and is a very sweet dog. She would make a great member of a family with or without children and other dogs.
