Miss Mooney

Miss Mooney came to us in rough shape in December of 2025. This girl was underweight, losing hair, and terrified of most things... Slowly with work and consistency, Miss Mooney is doing a lot better health wise. She is till working on her fearful behaviors, this can make meeting new people tough for her as she needs time, treats, and multiple visits to feel comfortable with someone. She is a great walker who one of volunteers works very hard with, she doesn't present with any reactivity and does well walking in ever crowded parks like Sorosis park here in The Dalles! <br/><br/>Miss Mooney does enjoy friendly and playful dogs, she's a little unsocialized when interacting with others. Most of her body language represents that of puppy behavior, she is very submissive and pleasing to an almost over whelming amount but she is slowly working on that with older dogs we have to teach her manners between dogs. We also think having a confident dog will help with her stranger danger or trust issues of people.
