Miss Junie's Story

FAST FACTS:
* 3 Years Old & 73Lbs
* Dog Friendly But Needs Calm Dog In Home Only
* No Young Children In Home
* Potty Trained
* Crate Trained

This sweet girl is looking for a home that will give her what she deserves most—time, love, and companionship. At 72 pounds, she’s a beautiful, loyal companion with an average energy level and a big love for the simple things in life.

Her favorite activities include playing fetch (she could do it for hours!), carrying around her toys, going for walks, and simply being close to her people. She can be strong on leash, but with consistency and a little training, she’ll continue to improve. She’s fully potty trained and does great with her routine, sleeping comfortably in her crate at night while enjoying freedom around the house during the day.

She’s okay with calm dogs but prefers her own space and isn’t interested in playing or sharing toys, so a laid-back canine companion could be a good fit or as an only pet. We don’t know how she feels about cats. She would do best in a home with older, quiet children, as sudden movements and loud noises can make her uncomfortable. A fenced yard is a must so she has a safe place to run, play, and enjoy her beloved games of fetch.

She came to us from Southern Illinois after her previous owner made the difficult decision to surrender her because they didn’t have enough time for her. Because of that, she’s looking for a family who can truly make her part of their daily life—she would not do well being left alone for long hours.

Expected to be around 75 pounds full grown, this loving girl is ready for a forever home where she can finally settle in and be someone’s loyal best friend.

If interested in adopting me please fill out an application on our website at www.fetchingtailsfoundation.org; please make sure you fill in every required field/question or your submission will not go through. Please note that we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care and our bios are our current observations; we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history and as such breed and age estimates are an educated guess.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS, NO EXCEPTIONS:

*ADOPTION FEE: $375

*Be at least 21 years of age

*Have the knowledge and agreement of all adults living in the household

*Have approval from owner of residence (written in lease)

*Have a valid ID with current address (please provide proof of address if ID address is not up-to-date)

*Be approved as a suitable adoptive home by Fetching Tails Foundation

*Be prepared to make a lifetime commitment

*QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR POLICIES?
