Miso's Story

AN INQUIRY FROM PETFINDER IS NOT AN APPLICATION! READ THE ENTIRE POST FOR INFORMATION HOW TO APPLY.

Meet Miso! Miso is a 5 month old male yorkie mix and he weighs about 10 pounds. Miso is still growing and we can not be sure of what is adult weight will be. Miso arrived in rescue when his previous family could no longer care for him. He has settled into foster care but is looking for a forever family that will be up for all things puppy, like leash training, house training and continued socialization, and that will work with him using positive reinforcement. His foster mom says: Miso is a super sweet, affectionate puppy who believes his favorite place is right by your side. He loves knowing where his person is at all times—and if you happen to wander out of sight, Miso will politely (and adorably) bark an alert to remind you to come back. He’s a natural little communicator and very people‑oriented.
This cuddly boy loves snuggles and will happily become your shadow if you let him. Whether you’re on the couch or moving around the house, Miso is happiest when he’s close to his person. He’s currently working on his leash skills and will need a bit more practice and patience, but with consistency and encouragement, he’s sure to get there.

Miso is neutered, up to date on vaccines, on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped.

Miso is fostered in the Orlando area and his adoption donation is $500. If you are interested in applying to adopt Miso, please visit www.floridalittledogrescue.com to read the adoption process and complete an application! Please note that emails simply asking "Is this dog available" will not be returned, as applications are worked in the order received and availability largely depends on when you apply:) Please also know we do not adopt out of state! Thank you!
