Miso's Story

Meet Miso: The Tennis Ball Enthusiast & Cozy Burrito! He is a sweet, almost two year old Chiweenie mix who came to rescue after a rough start on the streets of Southeast Louisiana. While he can be a bit timid at first, his foster family has cracked the code to his heart: BALL. If you want to build trust with Miso, skip the fancy treats-this budget-friendly king is motivated by tennis balls and oyster crackers! He loves playing fetch, keep-away, and catching balls in mid-air until he's completely "balled out." Once you've won him over, Miso is an absolute dream! He's fully housebroken, respects boundaries, and doesn't destroy things (though he might gently pull shoes off the rack if he's bored). He is incredibly responsive to correction, and currently working on not jumping up when excited. He sleeps beautifully in his kennel at night, but he will wait for you to properly tuck him into his blankets first like a little Burrito! He is a Sun-Worshiper who wants to be outside in the sun as much as possible, doesn't try to run off, and even tolerates baths because it means he gets to sun-dry afterward!
Miso is searching for a relatively quiet home where he can decompress at his own pace. He is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and heartworm negative.
Ready to tuck this little burrito in forever?
