Mira's Story

Mira’s unique looks are impossible to miss. Her gorgeous tricolor coat is a charming blend of solid patches and ticked markings, she sports a mild underbite, and one ear stands just a bit higher than the other. We think her slightly goofy appearance only adds to her appeal, making her all the more lovable and unforgettable.

First and foremost, Mira LOVES people. She can be a little nervous when meeting strangers, but once she decides you’re her person, she is the ultimate velcro pup. Mira’s favorite place in the world is right next to you—curled up with her head in your lap or resting on your shoulder. She is truly a complete lovebug. She greets her people with enthusiastic licks, happy butt wiggles, and adorable tippy-taps, and as long as she’s with her humans, she’s happy as can be.

While people are her bread and butter, Mira also enjoys the company of other dogs. She’s still learning the ropes of playtime, but she’s always excited to make new friends. She tends to prefer dogs her size or smaller, though she can do just fine with bigger dogs too. Mira is respectful of other dogs’ boundaries and appreciates when hers are respected as well.

Mira does well with cats and is wonderful with children of all ages. She is fully potty-trained and crate-trained, making her an easy addition to the home.

Mira would thrive in a family looking for an affectionate, people-loving companion to call their very own. In return, she’ll reward you with endless snuggles, sweet kisses, happy tail wags, and unwavering companionship. If you’re looking for an absolute lover of a pup, Mira might just be your perfect match.

If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out our application, and someone will be in touch with you shortly!
https://animalwelfarefriends.org/adopt/application/
