While they're young now, adopters should be prepared for the traits and needs that come with this active, intelligent breed.</p><br/><br/><p class="isSelectedEnd">Norwegian Elkhounds are <strong>loyal, affectionate, intelligent, playful, and confident dogs</strong>. They tend to form strong bonds with their people and can be wonderfully cuddly and devoted companions. They're also curious and eager to be involved in whatever their family is doing. As a working breed, they have plenty of energy and enjoy walks, playtime, training, and mental enrichment.
