Minnie's Story

** This is an Out Of Town listing. We transport to the city on this listing. Apply to adopt at www.bit.ly/mu-adopt **

Meet Minnie! Minnie came to rescue after spending her life outdoors in a rural area without the care and comfort every dog deserves. Despite that beginning, she arrived with the sweetest heart, just a little shy and unsure of the world. After a couple of months in foster care, Minnie has blossomed into a gentle, easygoing girl who truly enjoys the comforts of home — especially cozy beds and the company of other dogs.

She gets along wonderfully with her canine foster siblings. Her best friend... as you can tell from the videos... is her foster brother Lugnut. They’re rarely far apart. Minnie is happy to be the calm presence in the pack and doesn’t need to be the center of attention to be content.

Like many dogs adjusting to a new life, Minnie will need a patient home willing to give her time to settle in and feel secure. A secure fenced yard is important, as she may try to wander, especially while adjusting to yet another new environment. Once she knows she’s safe, she relaxes beautifully and simply enjoys being part of the household.

Minnie is the definition of an underdog — the quiet one who hasn’t always had someone in her corner, but who still chooses sweetness and trust. Could you be Minnie's next chapter... and the one where she finally gets the happy ending she deserves? Apply to adopt at the link below...

________

HOW TO APPLY TO ADOPT:

Start by filling out our online application at www.bit.ly/mu-adopt

Once submitted, we will reach out to approved applicants by phone. We may also suggest other amazing dogs in our care who could be a great fit for your home.

**NOTE: Completed applications take priority over Petfinder inquiries or emails.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $275 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. Note: We cannot guarantee full grown size or breed mix. Both are guesses based on physical characteristics and any known history.

To see more of the fur babies we rescue and love, follow us on Facebook: Misfits & Underdogs (www.facebook.com/61575337895248)
