Minnie's previous owner had to give up her, her puppies, and their other dogs due to some health issues. While the owner was able to find homes for everyone else Minnie was left alone and with no one coming for her. We are working to change that. Gaston County Animal Care and Enforcement's Adoption Policy

All adopters must fill out an adoption application. The application is reviewed by our adoption coordinator. If approved the adoption coordinator will contact them with a time to come and meet the animals they are interested in and counsel them on the animal's behavior and characteristics. We attempt to coordinate and find the best fit for the families and the animals. The public is welcomed to walk into our shelter at any time to view the available animals as well.
