Miner's Story
Meet Miner! At 8 years old and 11 pounds, Miner is a small dog with a very big zest for life.

He’s sweet, spunky, affectionate, and the kind of dog who makes it pretty clear how much he loves being around people. He can be a little shy when first meeting someone new, but that usually doesn’t last long. Once he’s comfortable, he’s all kisses, closeness, and happily keeping tabs on whatever his person is doing.

Miner is also a huge fan of other dogs. He’s gentle, respectful, and does a great job reading their cues, so he could be very happy with a canine sibling. He’d also be perfectly content as your one and only.

He’s fully potty trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on leash. Miner loves getting out for walks and having some playtime, but he’s not go-go-go all day. He knows how to settle, relax at home, and wind down for the night in his crate after his last walk.

He’s an easy fit for apartment living and would do well with someone who likes a nice balance of outdoor time and couch time. He could happily live with someone who works from home or someone who heads out during the day.

Miner is just a really lovable little guy — silly, affectionate, and very generous with his kisses. He has a way of making himself feel like part of the family very quickly, and we have a feeling his future person is going to be completely obsessed with him.

**Miner previously tested positive for heartworm and was treated before he left Texas

INTERESTED IN ADOPTING?
To adopt apply on our website www.truenorthrescue.org/adopt and email adopt@truenorthrescue.org to follow up on your application.

PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL TO ASK IF HE/SHE IS AVAILABLE.
