MINA- Needs a forever home! Corgi & Terrier Mix Birmingham, MI

Beautiful Mina is a 1 & 1/2 year old Corgi & Terrier mix who the Detroit Police found as a stray tied to a pole with a string. Mina had just recently given birth to pups. She was very thin and her breasts were engorged. The area was searched thoroughly for any signs or trace of the puppies, but none were found. It was obvious that they intentionally left her and took her babies. She weighs approx 34#. Unfortunately, Mina has been found to be Heartworm positive. She is currently in a foster home while she goes through her heartworm treatment. Mina is an easy going, happy girl!! May do ok with other dogs after a slow, proper introduction. Unknown how she is with cats. Children 8 years old and older who live in the home. Mina's forever home is required to have a totally enclosed physically fenced yard. Her vaccines are up to date as well as crate trained. Mina will have to wait until her milk dries up before she can be spayed. Mina is is searching for her forever family who will love, spoil and cherish her for the rest of her life!!!

All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. No out of state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Mina's adoption fee is $300.
