MINA's Story
*For any questions or to learn more about the adoption process, please contact us at inquiry@kpupsforlove.org.

Mina was rescued as a stray and arrived at a dog shelter with her mother and two of her siblings. She has lived at the shelter for the past five years and is now looking for a forever home.

Mina can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly, especially if you offer her treats! Once she trusts you, she's affectionate and enjoys spending time with her people. Mina also gets along very well with other dogs; she's currently living with multiple dogs at the shelter and is comfortable in a multi-dog environment. She has never lived with cats, but when she sees them on walks, she simply watches them for a moment and then continues on her way. She does not bark at them or try to chase them. Mina has also never lived with or met young children; she would likely do well with them if they can give her space and don't overwhelm her.

Mina is house-trained for both indoor and outdoor potty but strongly prefers to go during walks (over 90% of the time). Mina walks nicely on a leash. She can hesitate a little when you try to put on her harness, but once it's on, she's excited to go and walks calmly beside her person.

Mina shows no signs of separation anxiety or any aggressive behaviors. She is food-motivated and loves treats so it will be the quickest way to win her heart!
