Meet Milo <br/><br/>1 1/2 years old • 30 lbs • Bulldog mix <br/><br/>Milo may be a little guy, but he has already been through more than his fair share.<br/><br/>Milo arrived at a shelter in South Carolina as a stray in February 2026. No one ever came looking for him. On top of being homeless, Milo was dealing with a serious medical condition called paraphimosis.<br/><br/>After several surgeries were unsuccessful in correcting the problem, Milo ultimately needed a partial penile amputation. Through months of waiting, procedures, and recovery, this sweet boy kept going—and now he is doing well and finally ready to put all of that behind him.<br/><br/>And after everything he’s endured, Milo absolutely LOVES people. <br/><br/>His foster says Milo is:<br/> Great with other dogs<br/> House trained<br/> Crate trained<br/> Incredibly affectionate<br/> A professional couch-and-TV buddy<br/> A huge fan of belly rubs<br/><br/>His favorite place is cuddled up next to his human watching TV, preferably with plenty of belly rubs included.<br/><br/>Because Milo is a bulldog mix, we are requiring his adopter to have previous bulldog or bulldog-mix experience.<br/><br/>Milo waited months for his chance to leave the shelter.
