Milo's Story

Milo / M / 12Y / 4.5lbs / Yorkie / Fostered in Wiarton

This sweet boy has stolen our hearts and he's ready to steal yours too! 🥹❤️

Milo is a gentle, affectionate soul who loves nothing more than cuddles and sneaking under the covers at bedtime. He sleeps right through the night and is fully potty trained (with frequent trips outside)— basically the dream!

He walks beautifully on the leash, enjoys car rides, and is completely unbothered by other dogs. He also gets along great with cats. He does have a patellar laxation but has no pain and does not need any further intervention. He is also developing cataracts causing some visual impairment but he gets around just fine! He had a dental and has no teeth remaining but loves his canned food!

He's not a big toy or play dog — he just wants to be close to his people. When you're home he'll happily follow you from room to room, but he's also perfectly settled when left alone with free roam of the house. He IS very vocal when it's dinner time though, so you'll never forget to feed this one!

Milo would thrive with someone retired or who works from home, but he's happy to be left alone too — so he'd suit most households. He'd do well with children aged 12 and over who understand how to respect a dog's space, especially around his face.

If you are interested in adopting Milo, please complete an adoption application on our website.
