Milo West Highland White Terrier / Westie Mix Nixa, MO

Note: Dogs are pack animals and do not do well away from other members of their pack. The adopter is the alpha member of the pack, and the dog or puppy needs as much one-on-one contact with the alpha as possible. For this reason, all Route 66 Rescue Inc. dogs are adopted to inside homes only. They must be on leash, or inside a secure fence when outside, and not left outside alone when no one is home. Invisible fencing does not qualify as protection since other animals and strangers have access to the dog. The dogs must be returned to Route 66 Rescue, Inc. if ever given up by the adopter. Milo: Milo is a healthy West highland Terrier mix that is somewhere between 6-10 years old. Milo was rescued after being on a chain his entire life but you would never know it. He is almost completely housebroken and loves other dogs and everyone he meets. This guy has gone from sad and lonely to a vivacious kid that wants to play and snuggle.
