Milo's Story
Milo is an 11-month-old, 11-pound terrier mix who can best be described as a scruffy little muffin with a very kissable face. He may be a bit shy at first, but give him a gentle butt scratch and a little patience and he’ll quickly become your devoted little sidekick.

Once he feels safe, Milo is an affectionate snugglebug who loves to curl up beside his people. He has a fun, playful personality and gets the cutest bursts of energy — complete with happy zoomies. He enjoys running and playing with other small dogs and would absolutely love having a canine companion to show him the ropes.

Milo is doing great with dog-door potty training and enjoys having access to the yard to explore and play at his own pace. He also rides wonderfully in a doggy car seat, making him an easy travel buddy. He’s still learning the leash and will benefit from continued practice and positive reinforcement.

He does best with gentle, dog-savvy kids who understand how to be calm and careful with small dogs, especially one who may wiggle or jump when picked up. Milo loves sleeping with his people and other dogs, and while he doesn’t currently live with cats, we expect he would likely do fine.

Milo is also available to be adopted with another Underdog foster dog he’s bonded with for families looking for a ready-made pair — or he’d be thrilled to join a home that already has a friendly dog.

This sweet boy is looking for a loving, attentive family committed to helping him continue to grow in confidence. His ideal home will provide mental and physical stimulation, socialization, and gentle structure, along with an after-adoption plan to ensure ensure a smooth and successful transition.

If you’re looking for a playful, cuddly, and loyal little companion who just needs love and consistency to truly shine, Milo may be your perfect match.

First Step Is To Apply Now
[Apply Now](http://form.jotform.com/underdogca/dog-adoption-application)
For application updates, forwarding requests, or any questions, contact us at adopt@underdogca.com.
