Meet Milo
Meet Magnificent Milo!! Please read the following criteria and submit an application from our website: www.hearts4doxiesrescue.org - those who meet the requirements will be responded to. Only apply if you meet ALL the criteria listed below.
Criteria includes:
- Breed specific knowledge and experience
- Single family residence, home ownership with fully fenced yard
- Another canine companion similar in size, age and energy
- Prefer retired home and/or works permanently from home (not due to COVID)
- Quiet environment, active lifestyle
- Children 12+ considered
Milo is a very sweet, loving, affectionate and gentle 8 year young dapple who is extremely easy-going, happy, with a calm personality. He is quite the avid hiker who enjoys spending time with his humans on adventures. He does have a prey drive towards furry creatures so no kitty cats. He weighs approximately 12 lbs.
Milo is potty and leash trained, knows some basic commands and like every dachshund, is very treat motivated!!
He bonds quickly to his human(s) and prefers to sleep in the big bed. While he continues to move forward from his past, Milo is gaining confidence and is making strides towards having some separation anxiety. His diet consists of a quality kibble, joint supplement and other supplements that support overall health.
