Milo's Story
Meet Milo

Milo is a 5-year-old Toy Poodle with a HUGE personality packed into a tiny body! He is animated, playful, incredibly sweet, and absolutely loves other dogs. Hes also good with cats and has a gentle, friendly temperament once he feels comfortable.

Milo hasnt had much socialization throughout his life, so he is still learning that people can be trusted. Hes actually pretty funny about it. If your back is turned, hell happily bounce around your legs, jump up for attention and give you kisses. But the second you turn around to face him, he suddenly remembers hes supposed to be nervous!

These fears are not because Milo is unfriendly. Quite the opposite. He is a very loving little guy who simply needs time, patience and positive experiences to build his confidence. He has already made great progress and has learned to walk on a leash.

Milo is also an absolute angel in his crate. He is as quiet as a mouse all night long and has not had an accident in the house.

One important thing for Milos new family is that he will need a securely fenced yard. Although he is learning to walk on leash, he is not yet comfortable enough to do his business while out walking.

Milo needs someone who understands that trust takes time. He doesnt need to be rushed or forced. He needs someone willing to let him come out of his shell at his own pace and show him how wonderful life can be.

And we have a feeling that once Milo decides youre his person, youre going to have one very devoted little shadow following you everywhere.

If you think you might be the patient, loving home Milo is waiting for, please contact Helping Paws Rescue.

Milos adoption fee is $850 which includes neuter, microchip, vaccines, heartworm test, heartworm/flea/tick prevention and complete vet check.
