Milo's Story

Meet Milo!
Meet Milo, a 7-year-old, 17-pound Shih Tzu who is looking for something every dog deserves—a final forever home.
Milo is having a hard time right now. He recently left the only owner he has ever known, and that change has understandably caused him some anxiety. He needs an experienced, patient owner who understands that trust takes time and that the best way to Milos heart is to let him come to you at his own pace. Slow and steady, with some sweet talk, will win Milo over. Once he trusts you, you will see what a loving little guy he truly is.
Milo is house trained and will stay in a crate, although he definitely prefers having the freedom to roam around and be with his people. When he is scared or uncomfortable, Milo may growl to let you know he needs some space. His growling is his way of communicating that he is unsure or doesn't like something, so he needs someone who will respect his boundaries and continue building his confidence through patience and positive interactions. Because of these issues, no children or other dogs in the home would be best for Milo.
Milo is up to date on his vaccinations and microchipped, and he will be neutered within the next two weeks
Milo isn't looking for someone to rush him. He needs someone willing to give him time, respect his boundaries, and show him that he is safe. In return, Milo will give you the love that has been waiting underneath all that uncertainty.
Milos adoption fee is $350.
